The Father’s Blessing

The Father’s Blessing provides a unique and special place where all are welcome. It is a place where people experience God’s presence through worship, teaching, and prayer ministry. At The Father’s Blessing, lives are impacted as people encounter the power of God and enter into his glory.

Whether you would hesitate to describe yourself as a particularly religious or spiritual person, or if you have known Jesus all your life, The Father’s Blessing is available to everyone no matter your level of faith or church experience.

The Father’s Blessing gathers at Church of the Apostles most Friday evenings, from 7:30pm until approximately 9:00pm. Though children are always welcome participants at The Father's Blessing, we do provide free supervised childcare.

Anointed Praise and Worship

Our service begins with a period of extended worship, which ushers the congregation into the presence of God. We move from praise to worship and then beyond worship to experiencing the glory of God. We are blessed at Church of the Apostles with highly gifted and anointed worship leaders, singers and musicians who "minister by night in the house of the Lord" (Psalm 134). Together, we sing a wonderful mix of beloved anthems, familiar hymns, and fresh contemporary songs.

Encouraging Testimonies and Biblical Teachings

Following our worship, The Father’s Blessing usually incorporates a teaching from the Bible that is relevant to the world we live in today and can be applied to our lives. From time to time, we will have a special series of teachings that are presented over successive weeks. Often, God will speak through the teacher with "words of knowledge" specifically pinpointing situations in people’s lives that God wants to touch. There are also times when members of the congregation are invited to share a testimony of how God is transforming their lives. These testimonies offer encouragement to each of us.

Powerful Prayer Ministry

During our prayer ministry God moves through the faith and Spirit-given gifts of our prayer ministers to touch countless lives, sometimes with miracle-working power.

Our prayer ministers receive extensive training and are commissioned by Church of the Apostles. They function in small teams of two or three and serve the congregation compassionately, yet powerfully, as they pray with those who are seeking God’s transforming power.

God is healing bodies and transforming lives. Not everyone needs healing or a miracle; but we all need God’s peace and grace to live our lives as he intends.
