May 14: Douglas Minson on reason and religion in American Politics.

speakeasy. casually consequential conversations

“Thank God for Christopher Hitchens!” Fourth in our series of “casually consequential conversations.” Wednesday, May 14, 7:30pm at The Auld Shebeen Irish Pub.

Douglas C. Minson is Executive Director of Academic Affairs at the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. A bit of a provocateur himself, he once hosted atheist gadfly Christopher Hitchens (author of God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything) for a lecture at a faith-based organization. Join him for what is sure to be a lively conversation about people, tactics, theology, and politics, including the relation of faith, reason, and public life.
