Children’s Summer Programs

We are looking forward to a wonderful summer, and we hope YOUR children will be able to join us at Hero Headquarters!

Printable registration forms are here. (One form PER CHILD.)

Toddler Tuesdays: The Armor of God

As your child arrives, he or she will be greeted by a multi-sensory activity station; an environment designed to delight and engage. Each session will feature a portion of Ephesians 6:10-18, the full Armor of God. There will be music, games, and a simple age-appropriate craft. Plus, we will make a fun snack to help illustrate the lesson. (If your child has any food allergies, please bring a snack that you child can safely eat.)

Vacation Bible School: Hero Headquarters

July 12–16; Ages 3–9 years; Cost: $25
9:30am–1:00pm; Bring your own lunch. (Coolers will be available.)
Registration deadline: Monday, June 21

At Hero Headquarters, kids will discover unnamed heroes who were not super or powerful, yet their small acts were used by God to do wonderful things! What they had was willingness to be used by God right where they lived.

Worship Arts Camp: Everyday Heroes

July 26–30; Rising 2nd—Rising 6th Grades; Cost: $40
9:30am–1:00pm; Bring your own lunch. (Coolers will be available.)
Presentation: Friday, July 30, time TBD
Registration deadline: Monday, June 21

Everyday Heroes tells the stories of ordinary Old Testament people made extraordinary through God’s power—a power that can make heroes out of us today. Kids not only learn a multitude of music styles, they learn that if they’re willing, God will show them how to be a hero to people around them; it might be in a small way that no one else will even know about or it might be something so big everyone will know that God did it, not them! As your children unlock the story, they’ll unleash their hero potential.

Resident Camp: Find yourself in The Story

August 8–13; Rising 4th–Rising 9th Grades; Cost: $350
Camp Highroad, Middleburg, VA (Parents must arrange transportation for their children.)
Pre-Camp Meeting: For ALL CAMPERS and at least ONE PARENT, TUESDAY, AUG 3 at 7:00pm
• Registration deadline: Tuesday, April 27 (with $25 deposit; balance due Sunday, July 25)

We must have deposits from a minimum of 30 campers by April 27 to be able to run camp.

Resident Camp is the highlight of the summer! It is a time of refreshment, fun and an opportunity for kids to experience a little bit of “supervised” independence. Camp activities include bible teaching, praise and worship, prayer ministry, swimming, sports, and crafts. When you receive the “Supplies & Rules” list for camp, there will be added program activities (such as the low and high ropes courses and canoeing) that may incur an additional fee of no more than $10.

Scholarship funds are available for Resident Camp. Please contact Kristin Colligan for more information.
