Ministries

Church of the Apostles has for many years taken to heart the challenge of Jesus' Great Commission to “go and make disciples of all nations.” Though our work has a global objective, we must begin at home. Our Local Outreach Ministries seek to share the love of Jesus by providing food and shelter to the poor and abused, offering friendship to the lonely, and much, much more.

But we also know that our work does not end at the county line. At Church of the Apostles, we have a long tradition of sending and supporting missionaries throughout the world. Through short-term and resident missions, the Good News of Jesus is brought to people who might not otherwise hear of God’s saving love. Of course, not everyone is called to leave home to share the Gospel. But at Church of the Apostles, we provide numerous opportunities for everyone to share in the work and the fruit of the Great Commission.
