The world you live in is very different from the one your parents grew up in. And tragically different than the one we all lived in when you were little. Not only does your world include very real threats from people who don’t think twice about flying planes into buildings or bringing guns onto campus, you are facing huge pressure to follow the values of society and tempted to get involved in dangerous activities and lifestyles. Sometimes it is hard to make sense of what you hear at home and school, what you see on T.V. and movies, what you read in the newspapers, and what you believe—or don’t believe—about God.
If you are looking for answers to questions about life—and about God—we are committed to being a safe place where no question is out of bounds and answers are straight and relevant. If you are trying to figure out who Jesus is, this is a good place to work it out. If you have already decided to live for Jesus, we are committed to helping you strengthen your faith with solid Biblical teaching and encouraging relationships. Through worship, discipleship and mentoring, prayer and fellowship, you will be given opportunities to experience the awesomeness of God’s love for you, and tools to help you share that love . . . one person at a time.
The Student Ministry is led by Brian Smith and a great team of adult leaders who will take time to really get to know you, help you grow in faith, and show you what it looks like to live a life that revolves around Jesus. We are dedicated to receiving you as a child of God, valued and respected because of who you are to Him. And we recognize that it is an awesome responsibility and incredible opportunity to help you be a part of the next generation who want their lives to revolve around Jesus.
