Readings: Psalm 139, John 4:1-29
"Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?" –John 4:29
The question the woman at the well asks in John 4:29, has its answer in Psalm 139.  Yes, He is the Christ, the one who knit you together in your mother’s womb (Ps 139:13), the one who discerns your thoughts and searches out your path (Ps 139:2-3).  She came to the reorganization of who Jesus is through experiencing him, his mercy, his truth and his love.  Her response was to tell the entire city and joyfully make him known.  Do we do the same when we experience Him? Are we longing for this experience with Him?  The key for us is in surrender. Yielding to the Lord opens us up to His leading, conviction, mercy and grace.  These are all good things.  When we surrender, we do so into the arms of someone who will love us first, show us what we need, and then invite us to walk with Him to experience more.
Lord give me the strength, to surrender all to you.
