Throughout Advent, we have been anxiously waiting for the arrival of Jesus. Now, He has finally come! And on Epiphany Sunday, we are reminded that He is a King, the King of kings. But King Jesus is unlike any king we have ever known. He is the One who has come "not to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many" (Matthew 20:28). The Good News is that Jesus the King has come to set us free from everything that keeps us from abundant life with Him! And for this, Jesus is worthy of our worship and our devotion.

Jesus’s love is relentless. He has not only foreseen the whole story since before the beginning as the author, but He has stepped into it as a character, the central protagonist with a relentless pursuit of His beloved bride. That’s us, His beloved church! Those united and in communion with Christ and in fellowship with the Holy Spirit are bound to praise and glorify Him throughout the whole earth as His chosen bride adorned in His righteousness.
