Sermon: “Blessed From The Start” | Rev Nick Braunschneider

Sermon Description: In this season of Epiphanytide, we are following Matthew's account of the early days of Jesus' public ministry. In Matthew 5, crowds gather around to listen to this mysterious figure. It is here that Jesus opens His mouth to share a foundational (and astounding) truth..."You are blessed." We must have it settled in our minds and our hearts that true blessedness is ultimately God's determination, not ours.

Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 2:1-10; Psalm 37:1-9; Matthew 5:1-12

Sermon: “Into the Wilderness” | Rev Nick Braunschneider

Sermon Description: The wilderness is often a place of isolation and danger. It can be a place of severe testing. The wilderness is where "that which wishes you harm" lies in wait. And yet...after inaugurating His public ministry at His baptism, the wilderness is Jesus' first stop. Why go to such a desolate place? What purpose did it serve? Our Savior is fulfilling all righteousness for us, and putting our great foe on notice! The devil's time is short.

Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 1:18-31; Psalm 139”17-24; Matthew 4:1-11

Sermon: “Pain Is A University” | Rev Nick Braunschneider

Sermon Description: In Jesus' own baptism, He affirms the sanctity of all human life! As His holy people, we must also affirm life, at every stage. This Sunday, we take a look at the issue of euthanasia. How should Christians think about and respond to this practice that is growing in popularity?

Scriptures: Acts 10:34-43; Psalm 89:20-29; Matthew 3:13-17

Sermon: “The Light Shines In The Darkness” | Rev Nick Braunschneider

Sermon Description: As we conclude the 12 days of Christmastide, we turn our attention to Matthew's account of the wise men visiting the Child Jesus. In this event, we learn to not underestimate the darkness of lost humanity, nor the gracious Light of our Redeeming God.
