From hearing about who He is from other sources, to seeing Him for ourselves. This is what Jesus invites each of us into today.

Sermon: Waiting is a hard thing to do. Maybe the hardest thing. As time ticks by, and we do not see anything happening, everything within us wants to force the issue. God invites us to wait on Him and receive from His gracious Hand. However, we are too often tempted to preemptively grab what we can, as soon as we can. And when we give in to this temptation, it gets us into trouble.

This Covenant Renewal Sunday, we'll look at this foundational biblical principle. Before we can experience the new, resurrection life that God desires to give us, we must undergo a death. He gave the world mothers to be living examples of this truth.
