Throughout the ages, the story of the People of God has been one of struggle and deliverance. Difficulties are more the rule than the exception. However, because of our Lord's great love, we are not consumed by them. Knowing the Story (and who the Author is!) is what gives us a song, and enables us to continue on with hope.

Sermon: "The Importance of Moving Into Maturity" | Nick Braunschneider

God wants us to press on toward maturity. Is this a primary goal of your life? In this Sunday's text from Hebrews, we will learn the concrete benefits of growing into a spiritually mature Christian, and the danger that looms for one who is developmentally-stunted. The author of Hebrews exhorts every Christian to "leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity" (Hebrews 6:1). Our growth is always by the grace of God...and it's also a conscious, personal choice.
